I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2008. I started my career as an Athletic Trainer working for two years at Normal Community High School. In 2010 I earned my Masters of Science degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University. As a graduate student I took an interest in the rehabilitation and prevention of throwing injuries and completed a project that examined the effectiveness of instrument assisted soft tissue therapy on the throwing shoulders of collegiate baseball players. Following graduate school I worked as an athletic trainer and assistant to shoulder and elbow surgeon, Dr. Tony Choi at Midwest Orthopaedic Institute in Sycamore, Illinois. This is my second year at GBN and I look forward to getting to know as well as working with the athletes, coaches, and parents.
